Grant from the Coeta & Donald Barker Foundation

We are pleased to announce that The Art Foundation of SB has received a $5000 grant from the Coeta & Donald Barker Foundation to be used in furthering art education in our community. We received the grant recently in a community ceremony where Dana Newquist handed out the grant checks as chairman of the Barker Foundation.  There were some 15 or more other recipients. John Doordan accepted the grant at the ceremony and spoke about the recent support of VADA students and the further work The Art Foundation of SB anticipates being able to do thanks to this latest grant.
